The coping skills section felt really practical — my students actually used the "inner voice" activity during a stressful test week. A solid unit for building that inside-out confidence.
The lesson on identifying internal vs. external validation was a real eye-opener for my students. I appreciated how the unit breaks down self-esteem into concrete, manageable topics like confidence and coping. It's already sparked some great classroom discussions.
I’ve been using Bigfoot’s lesson on self-esteem with my middle school group, and the “inside out” approach really helped them connect their feelings to real coping skills. The guided discussion prompts got even my quietest kids talking.
