The teamwork activities got my class actually talking to each other instead of just zoning out, and the problem-solving prompts made the lessons feel practical rather than preachy. My students started using phrases like "yet" after just two weeks.

The teamwork and problem-solving lessons fit perfectly into our weekly SEL block, and the narwhal theme kept kids engaged from day one. I've already seen students pause before giving up on a tough puzzle and actually talk through their strategies together.

My students were really struggling with giving up too quickly, but the problem-solving activities in this unit finally got them to stick with tough tasks. The teamwork lesson was a nice bonus too, it got even my quietest kids participating.
