The guided breathing exercise in lesson two was a perfect way to get my restless 5th graders to actually sit still. It's rare to find a digital resource that genuinely helps with mind-body connection without feeling fluff.
The "Yeti's lessons" really helped my third graders grasp the mind-body connection during our morning circle, and I noticed they stay calmer before quizzes now. Their concentration has noticeably improved after just a few weeks of the unit.
My students were so fidgety before tests, but the "slow down" activities in this unit plan genuinely helped them refocus. I love that it explains the mind-body connection in a way that's actually understandable for kids.
