My six-year-old asked to read it three times in a row last night, which tells you everything. The hardcover really holds up to her enthusiastic page-turning, and the way it frames helping as "understanding others' needs" actually got her asking how she could help around the house this morning.
The hardcover binding is sturdy enough for storytime chaos, and my kids actually ask to read it before bed. It’s done more for their manners than any lecture I’ve tried.
