Les leçons de Loutre portent sur le thème de la création de liens. Elles visent à aider à construire une communauté de classe et à renforcer les connexions entre ses membres. Développer une communauté respectueuse et soudée est essentiel pour la santé socio-émotionnelle des élèves, des familles, des enseignants et de tous les membres qui font partie de la famille de la classe. Lorsque les élèves se sentent respectés, en sécurité, valorisés et connectés entre eux et à la classe, ils sont plus aptes à apprendre et à explorer dans tous les domaines d'apprentissage.
