Skabt til at støtte og adressere børns sociale og følelsesmæssige færdigheder, hjælper The Feels Educators' Edition elever med at lære at identificere 5 primære følelsestilstande samt strategier til at tage sig af deres følelser. Med tiden opmuntrer øvelsen af de færdigheder, der tilbydes i The Feels, til samarbejde i stedet for kamp mod følelser, og lærer børn at lytte uden at dømme til, hvad vores følelser har at sige, så vi kan beslutte den bedste fremgangsmåde. Dette undervisningsforløb støtter elever i følelsesidentifikation, følelsesregulering, mindfulness og kollaborativ problemløsning.

The Feels Unit Plan: Indeholder i alt 7 lektioner med udvidede aktiviteter, der kan bruges i hele klassen, i små grupper eller i individuel undervisning.

Mål:

  • Lektion 1 - Den første lektion sigter mod at støtte børn i at identificere deres følelser og forstå, hvorfor de opstår.
  • Lektion 2 - Eleverne lærer at identificere BANGE og lærer strategier til at håndtere bange.
  • Lektion 3 - Eleverne lærer at identificere VRED og lærer strategier til at håndtere vred.
  • Lektion 4 - Eleverne lærer at identificere SORG og lærer strategier til at håndtere sorg.
  • Lektion 5 - Eleverne lærer at identificere BEKYMRET og hvordan de kan blive venner med deres egne tanker gennem kognitive/mentale teknikker.
  • Lektion 6 - Eleverne lærer at identificere ROLIG og hvordan det at tage sig af deres FØLELSER hjælper dem med at have kontrol og træffe de valg, de ønsker.
  • Lektion 7 - Refleksion - Saml læringen i en bog, der kan bruges som en løbende ressource for elever i klassen eller derhjemme.
