My toddler grabbed this during a playdate meltdown and actually paused to squeeze its hammerhead — the whole dynamic shifted. It’s sturdy enough for rough handling but soft where it counts. We’ve already used it as a calm-down buddy twice this week, and that’s more than any toy’s done before.

My three-year-old actually reaches for this when she's upset, and we've started talking through arguments with the hammerhead as our "calm buddy." The conflict resolution angle is subtle but it's clearly working, because she's starting to name her feelings instead of just yelling.

The little hammerhead is sturdy and perfectly sized for small hands, and it genuinely helped my kids talk through a sharing dispute without tears. I love that it turns a tense moment into a calm conversation about making healthy choices.
