My kid’s been talking to Narwhal about “sticking with hard things” all week, and I’ve actually seen him pause before giving up on puzzles now. The fabric is soft but sturdy enough for daily wrestling matches, which is a win in my book.
The stitching on the fin is holding up great through all the tossing around, and the size is perfect for my son to cuddle during story time. He’s started talking about what he learns at school when we play with it, which feels like the growth mindset angle is actually clicking.
My kid keeps talking to Narwhal about "staying in the learning zone" during homework now, and I actually caught her coaching her little brother through a puzzle using the teamwork ideas from the story. The stitching around the fins is solid enough to survive daily tugging, which I appreciate.
