The way this book frames asking for help as a strength, not a weakness, really clicked with my son. The growth mindset message is woven so naturally into the story that he doesn’t even realize he’s learning a lesson. We’ve read it three times this week already.
The way Narwhal asks for help instead of giving up has honestly changed how my son talks about his own mistakes at school. He now says a hard puzzle is "a chance to grow" and I caught him using the teamwork language with his sister. It's a short read but the growth mindset message really sticks.
